The European Marketing Certification Foundation (EMCF) performs personal certification for Registered Marketers according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17024. The EMCF is the first and only organisation in Europe, to certify marketers according to a nationally and internationally valid ISO standard. In order to be able to be certified as Registered Marketer, with the accompanying right to carry the title RM, you need to meet a number of requirements as a marketer. You can find these requirements under the header Do I qualify: Quickscan RM. Once you have become a Registered Marketer, your certification needs to be renewed after 5 years. You can find this under the header Requirements Renewed Certification RM. As independent organisation, the EMCF performs the aforementioned personal certification and renewed certification.
The EMCF is subjected to an annual audit by the Board of Accreditation, which makes sure that the EMCF performs its activities according to the aforementioned ISO standard.
